Lauren Cohan Raves About Wonder Woman

It's safe to say that Wonder Woman has made a cultural impact, with fans, critics, and celebrities alike expressing their love for the film. And now, another name that can be added to that ever-growing list - The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan.
Cohan - best known for playing the badass Maggie on the popular AMC series - recently took to Twitter to praise Wonder Woman, calling it "jubilant, meaningful, and fantastic."
The actress is no stranger to the DCEU, having previously appeared - alongside her TWD co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan - in last year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While Cohan's portrayal as Martha Wayne was brief, it certainly has stuck with fans.
Many have campaigned for Cohan to reprise her role in a future DCEU film, particularly in one inspired by Flashpoint. While the 2011 comic event has many different storylines, one of the most popular was Batman: Knight of Vengeance, which depicted an alternate universe in which Bruce Wayne died instead of his parents, leading Martha to become the Joker, while her estranged husband Thomas became Batman.
It's unclear if Cohan will get to appear in the DCEU again, but it's certainly nice to see her praising the cinematic universe's other outputs.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. The film stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Ewen Bremmer, Doutzen Kroes, Samantha Jo (Euboea), Florence Kasumba (Senator Acantha), Said Taghmaoui, Eleanor Matsuura (Epione), Emily Carey (Young Diana), and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe).
Wonder Woman is in theaters now, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without a release dates.
