Wonder Woman Commands The Spotlight On New Japanese Magazine Cover

The Princess of Themyscira is ready for action, thanks to an awesome new magazine cover!
Japanese movie magazine Eiga Hiho recently unveiled the first look at their October issue, which features a Wonder Woman-inspired cover. You can check it out below.
The cover shows an illustrated version of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), leaping towards the viewer with her trusty sword and shield in hand. Behind her is a Themysciran landscape, with Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), Antiope (Robin Wright), and several other Amazons ready for battle.
The Wonder Woman cover is drawn by Tsuyoshi Nagano, whose past work includes various Japanese Star Wars promotional materials.
The release of Eiga Hiho's issue is particularly noteworthy for Japanese audiences, as Wonder Woman is set to officially release in the country on August 25th. The film has already exceeded plenty of expectations before arriving in Japan, recently earning over $800 million at the worldwide box office.
A sequel to Wonder Woman is currently in development, with a script already being written by Patty Jenkins and DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. Several prominent names have expressed an interest in joining the sequel, including Geena Davis and Charlize Theron.
