Wonder Woman, the world is waiting on you. This summer, the DC Comics icon will be getting a long-overdue gift from Hollywood. The heroine's first live-action feature is set to debut later this year, and fans are on-board with Gal Gadot's take on the hero. Helmed by Patty Jenkins, the period flick will explore the origins of Wonder Woman during the bleak years of World War I. And, in just over 48 hours, fans should have new footage of the film to geek out over.

On Saturday, new footage from Wonder Woman is expected to drop during the Kids Choice Awards over on Nickelodeon. The annual event teased fans about an appearance that Gadot and co-star Chris Pine would make at the show. And, on the network, exclusive commercials have started to air to promote the footage's release.

So far, there is no confirmation on whether the footage will be packaged as a clip or even a full trailer. However, fans are hoping for the latter. Last month, reports surfaced that a new trailer for Wonder Woman had been classified. Trailer-Tracks said the new video clocked in at just over a minute. If fans are lucky and have their hunches correct, then the trailer may just make its debut on Sunday.

If you are excited for the movie, then let us know below by rating it with our Anticipation Rankings! It is currently #13 on all of ComicBook!
