While all eyes may be on the forthcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ at the moment, let's not forget that fighting action from the hit anime series is also making its way to the Nintendo Switch, as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is just a couple of months from release.

The hit sequel, which has previously made the rounds on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, features a wide assortment of characters and modes, as detailed in our previous news story. However, the team at Nintendo Everything has revealed the first gameplay trailer for the specific Switch version, and while it's all in Japanese, it's worth checking out if you're a fan.

Over the course of the nearly four minute trailer, which you can see above, you'll get a glimpse of how smoothly the game runs on the Switch, as well as the ability to take the action on the go, or playing on your television. For that matter, you also get an idea of how the battle system will work with the Nintendo Switch JoyCons, as you'll be able to throw fireballs like a boss, dodge incoming attacks and so much more. Of course, if you prefer to play the normal way, you still can – but some people actually like the thrill of executing a Kamehameha for themselves.

The game itself is chock full of opponents to take on, as well as plenty of multiplayer potential, in case you feel like mixing it up with friends. The full list of features is below:

We won't have to wait too much longer to unleash fireballs and multi-hit chaos in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The game is set to arrive on September 22nd. So place your bets now on who will rule this Xenoverse!
