God of War Ragnarok Day One Update Patch Notes Revealed

11/08/2022 01:52 pm EST

The patch notes for the day one update that will be released alongside God of War Ragnarok in the coming day have now been unveiled. As expected, the latest entry in the God of War series is going to be getting a sizable update on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 when it rolls out on November 9th. And while day one patches are commonplace nowadays, it's somewhat staggering just how many alterations are being made with Ragnarok's initial update.

As a whole, God of War Ragnarok's version 2.00 update brings a vast number of tweaks to the action-adventure title. In total, developer Santa Monica Studio has fixed well over 100 bugs and errors associated with gameplay, dialogue, quests, and cinematics that are seen in Ragnarok. Clearly, the studio has been putting in a ton of work on Ragnarok since the game went gold a couple of weeks back.

Fortunately, if you have already pre-ordered God of War Ragnarok for yourself, you should be able to download this day one update ahead of the game becoming playable in just a few short hours. Conversely, if you're planning to buy Ragnarok physically, you'll have to wait to download this patch once you end up installing the game from the disc.
