'Injustice 2' Image Teases Huge Fan-Requested Character for Fighter Pack 3

The Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 3 reveal is coming this Friday night, and in a recent tweet to promote the video and the reveal, NetherRealm and Ed Boon have given us a brand new image to analyze.

There are two things worth noting right away. The first is that the only character clearly shown in the image is Black Manta, so don't get your hopes up for some enhanced version of that photo that shows someone in the distance. We don't even have a silhouette to work with this time, but we do have some really big clues.

There are multiple enhanced versions of this image floating around on Twitter right now, and we've taken the best one that seems to give the most clues. Judging by the few clues NetherRealm did give us in this image, we think it's safe to assume that a fan-favorite request is about to be granted.

Constantine on the way?!

Now that we have a few more details and a little more light, let me set the stage for you. Our newest heroes have been defeated by a mysterious new group of contenders. This is exactly how the Fighter Pack trailer have played out in the past. Black Manta is on the ground incapacitated, and on the left you can see Raiden's hand -- you can barely make out the blue and gold on his wrist -- on the ground as well.

There is a canister of oil spilling onto the ground, and blurred out in the foreground, on the far right side, you can make out a cigarette still burning. This cigarette is our biggest clue, and the general consensus is that Constantine is going to enter into the picture and use that cigarette to light the oil on fire.

Now there's a chance that it could one of Hellboy's smokes, but Hellboy is usually smoking a cigar, while Constantine is typically pictured with a cigarette. Additionally, one Reddit user is claiming that he saw a leak about this very video:

Leaks aside, we don't have long to wait; the reveal is this Friday night at 9PM Central!
