New Pokemon Go Merchandise Announced

Giving players a couple more ways to show off their team spirit as they play for one of the three teams in Pokemon Go, several new merch items have been revealed that range from shirts to phone cases.

These products that are set to go on sale soon are currently listed for sale in Japan, according the Japanese Pokemon site. With a range of prices for the different items being sold, the site says that all of the merchandise is scheduled to go on sale starting Aug. 9, though preorders for the items will be available beginning on July 29 through The Pokemon Center Online.

The newly revealed items can be seen below along with their current prices, all of which don't include the addition of tax. Prices range very slightly depending on some of the sizes and whether or not it's a kids' product, but most of the products have a set price.

All of these items are set to be sold both online and at the Pokemon Center Yokohama store during the big Pikachu Outbreak event that is quickly approaching. The online preorders will run until the release date of the items on Aug. 9.

Looking at some of these items compared to the merchandise that was sold during Pokemon Go Fest, the shirts bear some similarities to the other products, though they're still different from the festival merch. However, all of the other merchandise that's being sold, such as the pins and the phone cases, have not yet been released anywhere else.

With the items currently planned to be released in Japan, there's no word yet on if they plan to be made more accessible to audiences outside of the country. You can see the merchandise that's on sale through the gallery included here.
