PlayStation owners will soon have some new features to try out on their PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles when a new update drops this week, Sony announced. The next beta update that's releasing on Wednesday will be the second of its kind and will add more party chat options, Game Base enhancements, UI features on the PlayStation 5, accessibility features, and a preview of a new voice command system. The catch, of course, is that you have to first enroll in the PlayStation beta program to be able to test these features when they're released this week or else you'll have to wait for the live release later.

Ahead of the release of this update, PlayStation shared a pretty comprehensive set of patch notes detailing everything that's changed. Some images were shared to show what the features look like in action, but you'll see those soon enough if you're enrolled in the beta. You can see those images here, and the full set of patch notes can be found below:

New Party Chat Options

New PS5 UI Features

New Accessibility Features

Voice Command (Preview): U.S. and U.K. limited release

PlayStation's next console update will start being released for beta testers on Wednesday.
