New Vehicles
Look forward a ton of new-to-Battlefront ships and vehicles to seen during the livestream, most of which will be fully playable. Here's some of what you can expect, from the Battlefront II website:
"Sleek N-1 Starfighters and Vulture Droids scream overhead spewing light and fire. Nimble AT-RT Walkers race around corners, pursued by roaring AATs. Agile Clone Jumptroopers hop from rooftop to rooftop, while rampaging B2 Super Battle Droids level everything in their path."
New Heroes and Villains
As in past games in the series, Star Wars Battlefront II will let you temporarily take control of super-powerful iconic characters from the series mythos. EA has already teased a couple characters:
"Armies of Clones and Droids sprint across cover, their blazing weapons shattering the tranquility of the once-peaceful capital of Naboo. And at the center of the swirling melee the lightsabers and Darth Maul and Rey cut swaths through the ranks of the battling troopers."
Darth Maul and Rey are exciting additions, but word is we'll be seeing four characters during the livestream. Recent leaked Battlefront II gameplay (which has quickly taken down) also showed glimpses of Boba Fett and Han Solo.
Character Customization
Star Wars Battlefront II developer DICE has also promised the sequel will add a new level of character customization. We'll no doubt get a peek at the possibilities during the livestream:
"Master Your Hero! Not just an iconic hero- your hero. Master your craft with customizable character progression. Equip ability modifiers, unique to each hero, trooper class, and starfighter. Use these ability modifiers to adapt and modify your character's core powers, either as lethal active effects on your opponents, helpful status boosts, or tactical assistance, to counter any opponent on the battlefront."
Fans who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront II will get Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits, powers, and ships for Kylo Ren and Rey, an epic lightsaber mastery card for Yoda, and early access to the game's open beta, which kicks off on [date].
Star Wars Battlefront II brings the fight to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on November 17. You can check out WWG's latest Battlefront II coverage here, and our back catalog of stories, right here.
