It's time to meet the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel Television and ABC have released new photos from the second episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4, titled "Meet the New Boss."

The photos show a new look at Jason O'Mara as the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. The new director is having a conversation with the previous director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg).

There's also a photo of Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), who is now training specialized S.H.I.E.L.D. teams. Meanwhile, Mack (Henry Simmons) and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) are doing science...stuff? What exactly is that box of glowing light that Fitz is walking into, and why is wearing equipment that looks inspired by Ghostbusters?

In "Meet the New Boss," Daisy goes to battle Ghost Rider at a terrible cost, and Coulson faces the new Director, and his bold agenda surprises them all.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns with a vengeance for the fourth exciting season in an all new time period, Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET. In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they've ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 will also introduce Gabriel Luna as Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 premieres Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
