Agents Of SHIELD Season 4 Episode 18: No Regrets Recap With Spoilers

The Patriot and Coulson stage a car crash on a road to stop a Hydra bus and search for Skye. The Patriot says he's searching for another patient as well. The Patriot doesn't completely trust Simmons and wants to know what she's hiding. Coulson stops the bus and the Patriot strikes. Together they clear the Hydra agents but only find Hydra body bags on the bus.

The Doctor interrogates Daisy. He says he knows the truth about Daisy and her world and he suspects that she replaced the "real Skye" as part of a plan to conquer Hydra and the world. The Doctor and Hydra plan to go to Daisy's world first and conquer it themselves.

Madame Hydra tells May that they may have a weapon that can defeat the Patriot, but there are risks involved. May volunteers.

Skye wasn't in the bags on the bus. The Patriot has Mack swap the plates on the boss so that they can sneak into Hydra and investigate a secret weapon they've received information about.

Simmons feels like Patriot wasting time going on these missions when the world he inhabits is not real. She wants to tell him the truth and to focus exclusively on rescuing Daisy. She tells Coulson about what happened to him and Coulson.

Hydra presents May with a super strength cocktail that will help her take on the Patriot.

Simmons explains the truth about reality to Ward and the Patriot. The Patriot is upset by the idea that he's lost so many close friends in a fight that doesn't matter. Ward wonders how Simmons knows her world is the real world and that she isn't the one who is waking up to reality. Mace insists that what they do here matters. When Simmons leaves, Patriots asks Ward to discover the grain of truth in her story.

Madame Hydra talks to Daisy tells her that she didn't make this world a prison, it was the natural extrapolation of the regrets they reversed. AIDA offers Daisy a peaceful life with Lincoln Campbell and no memory of the life they've led. Daisy tells AIDA that what people want isn't always what is right for them. Madame Hydra says the thing she gets out of all of this is a choice.

Simmons sees Mack and Hope for the first time. Coulson introduces them. Coulson has volunteered to drive the bus on the mission.

Fitz is briefed a security breach in Project Looking Glass by his father.

Coulson drives up to the gate and is investigated. It takes a while, but his clearance goes through.

Radcliffe has an emotional breakdown in his cell.aisy hears it. Radcliffe tells Daisy about what happened to Agnes. Radcliffe tells Daisy about a backdoor out of the Framework.

Fitz tells his father about Agnes. He wonders if maybe he didn't need to kill her. His father says that's his mother talking. He rose Fitz to believe they don't have the luxury of sympathy.

Once inside the reeducation camp, the Patriot and Coulson make their move. They find people kept in animal cages. One of them Antoine Triplet, one of Mace's inside men.

The Doctor injects May with the strength serum, giving her an hour of augmented strength to go after the Patriot.

Mack tells Simmons about all the things Hydra wiped out of their textbooks. Ward asks Simmons about what he did in her reality that made her hate him. She tells him that he killed several people. Ward apologizes for whatever he did in the other world.

Trip searches for his boots, which hide an old spy camera with photos of Project Looking Glass, which will supposedly kill the Inhumans. Trip finds the boots on a Hydra soldier. Coulson spots the kid that was taken out of his class and goes to rescue him. Trip and Patriot hand the intel off to Burroughs and head back to help Coulson.

Ward mobilizes to help the team on the ground. He want to bring Mack, but Simmons volunteers in his place.

May arrives and attacks the Patriot. Trip goes to help Coulson while May and the Patriot fight.

Coulson finds children being literally brainwashed in a classroom and sets about freeing them.

The Patriot defeats May, but May radios back to base. They order the Quinjet to fire on the quarantine building with the kids inside. Simmons and Ward arrive in time to see the Quinjet I the sky. Trip leads kids out of the building, but he needs Simmons and Ward's help to rescue the others. One of the kids sit about to be crushed, but the Patriot throws his body over the kid's to protect him.

May moves in to verify the Patriot died in the blast. May is surprised when she finds kids running through the building. May arrives just in time to see the Patriot life the pile of rock so that they can free the child. The Patriot then sacrifices himself to make sure the others can get out of the building.

In the real world, AIDA sees that Mace's vitals have flatlined and turns his machine off.

May visits Daisy in her holding cell. She asks if it's true Daisy is an Inhuman. Daisy says she's powerful enough to bring the whole place down. May throws a terrigen crystal at her feet and Daisy undergoes Terrigenesis.
