Agents of SHIELD: 5 Questions We Need Answered Before the Finale

What Happened To The Quake LMDs?
In "Self Control," audiences were at first led to believe that Quake had been replaced with a life model decoy back at the Superior's base and was part of the plan to infiltrate SHIELD.
It turned out that wasn't quite true. The real Quake did return from the Superior's base, but the other LMDs definitely had a plan to replace her and then some.
Quake discoverd the plan when she stumbled upon a hidden stock of LMDs made in her image. The LMDs planned to use them to simultaneouly meet and kill all of the Inhumans in SHIELD's registry.
Later in the episode, they May LMD detonated some explosives inside SHIELD HQ. Did the Quake LMDs survive the blast? What does Aida plan to do with them next?
"When we come back, we'll see how big of an explosion it really was," executive producer Jed Whedon hinted. "The idea was May sacrifices herself to try to put an end to what they're doing."
Will FitzSimmons Survive?
FitzSimmons is everyone's favorite couple on Agents of SHIELD. They've weathered a lot over the past several months, but the Framework may break them for good.
For one thing, Simmons hacked her way into the Framework and entered her avatar without having there to program around her and fix her regrets She didn't expect that her Framework avatar would be dead and buried. Agents of SHIELD established that dying in the Framework would mean dying in real life, but what happens when you're already dead in the Framework, to begin with? And what killed Simmons in the Framework?
Whatever happened to Simmons, Fitz hardly seems to be struggling with grief. Within the Framework, Fitz is living the life of the super wealthy and he has another lady on his arm. Who could this woman be?
What Is Framework Grant Ward Like?
Perhaps the biggest shocker in "Self Control" came when Quake woke up within the Framework after hacking her way in. Her Framework avatar was enjoying a bath, but then received a text message calling her and her "boyfriend" in.
Quake assumed that the "boyfriend" would be Lincoln Campbell, her Inhuman boyfriend who sacrificed himself to stop Hive in the Agents of SHIELD Season 3 finale. However, upon Quake entering the bedroom it was revealed that this boyfriend was actually the man who was Hive's host, former SHIELD and Hydra agent Grant Ward.
Ward is still dead in reality, but he's back in the Framework. Fans saw many different sides of Grant Ward before his death, so what will this virtual version that was built on technology and magic be like?
"How he reacts to this new environment and how empowered he feels by it and how dangerous he is is a question you'll have to wait to get the answer to," EP Jed Whedon teased when ComicBook asked in an interview.
Can May and Coulson Ever Be Together?
One story arc that has been stretched over the entirety of Agents of SHIELD Season 4 has been how Coulson and May's relationship may become something romantic.
Unfortunately, body-swapping Life Model Decoys cut in and made things pretty awkward. Now Coulson and May's first kiss, at least first non-mission related kiss, is actually a kiss between Coulson and LMD.
How that May LMD dealt with her emotional turmoil upon being confronted by Coulson's LMD was the emotional breaking point of the entire season so far, but now both May and Coulson are trapped within the Framework, where they don't seem to even know each other.
Will May and Coulson escape? And can their relationship ever recover?
What Happened To Ghost Rider?
We may be a little hung up on this, but we're sure we're not the only ones.
The first half of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD Season 4 dealt with Robbie Reyes, Ghost Rider, and his uncle's quest for ultimate power.
The story seemingly ended when Robbie Reyes sacrificed himself to put an ends to his uncle's plan, but that can't be the end of Ghost Rider's story, can it?
The Ghost Rider is the Spirit of Vengeance. Robbie just vanished into thin air, or so it appeared. Where did they go? And what ultimate became of Robbie Reyes and the Ghost Rider?
