When Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) team up in Ant-Man and the Wasp next year, they'll be fighting micro-sized crime set to a familiar score. In response to a fan's question on Twitter, director Peyton Reed confirmed that composer Christophe Beck would be returning for the ant-sized sequel.

The Canadian composer first joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Reed's Ant-Man (2015), replacing the Oscar-winning Steven Price (Gravity) on the project.

Beck's resume is as impressive as any, having credits on the Disney-hit Frozen (2013) and massive film franchises such as The Hangover trilogy and Pitch Perfect (2012).

The Ant-Man franchise isn't Beck's first go-around with the superhero genre, the composer previously worked with director Rob Bowman on 20th Century Fox's Elektra (2005). He also wrote a song for Fox's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 called 'Blind Man.'

Prior to his film career, Beck rose to fame for his work with Joss Whedon on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Beck walked away from the show as an Emmy-winning composing, primarily composing the score for the show's second, third, and fourth seasons.
