Black Panther & Hulk Stars Unite On Avengers: Infinity War Set

It's been less than a week since Black Panther descended upon the set of Avengers: Infinity War, but it looks like the hero has made a friend. A few days ago, Chadwick Boseman confirmed he was filming his part of the Marvel blockbuster with a clever tweet, and the star is at it again. Now, Boseman is showing some monstrous love to Bruce Banner and his hulking alter-ego online.

Over on Twitter, Boseman shared a thankful message with fans as he shared how grateful he was for all the recent Black Panther love. The hero saw the first trailer for his standalone drop over the weekend, and social media was buzzing over the footage - and Mark Ruffalo appears to be a fan too.

"Can't thank this guy and you all enough for all of the #BlackPanther love. Immensely grateful!" Boseman wrote. The caption accompanied a photo of the Black Panther star sitting as Ruffalo stood over his shoulder. The two Marvel actors appear to be outside on the set of Avengers: Infinity War, and the duo's overlapping schedules has got fans talking.

Earlier this year, both Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth were spotted in Scotland as the feature did filming abroad. The two stars weren't the only ones seen around the UK as Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paul Bettany have also been spotted by eagle-eyed fans. Anthony Mackie also filmed scenes abroad, but the actor managed to evade prying eyes until he completed his shoots.

There is no telling whether Boseman's Black Panther will have any scenes with either Bruce or the Hulk - but fans are crossing their fingers. When Boseman confirmed he was on the set of Avengers: Infinity War, he did so by sharing an image of his cast chair sitting between that of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson. Fans began to speculate the trio may be filming scenes in Wakanda as that's where the heroes were at the end of Captain America: Civil War. So, who knows? Both Thor and the Hulk might beam down to the secretive country of Wakanda to fill in the gang about Thanos and his unholy plans for the Infinity Stones.

You can check out the first synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War below:

"As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain."

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
