'Avengers: Infinity War' Tops Kids' Choice Awards Nominees

Avengers: Infinity War might not have been recognized by the Academy this year, but Nickelodeon hopes to right that wrong, with the film topping the list of nominees at the Kids' Choice Awards. The film will compete against fellow superhero films like Black Panther and Aquaman at the event which will be hosted by DJ Khaled on March 23rd.

Despite many fans' disappointment that Infinity War didn't win any Oscars, Marvel Studios set a record with Black Panther earning more Academy Awards than any other superhero film, a record previously held by The Dark Knight. Black Panther won Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Original Music Score.

"Father of Asahd is here to let you know the biggest party of the year is about to go up! That's right, March 23, I'm your host, DJ Khaled for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. I'll see you soon!" Khaled shared in a statement.

New categories this year include favorite TV host, favorite TV judges, favorite superhero, and favorite gamer. Additionally, the new category "How Do You Want to Help?" is meant to represent the change the young audiences would like to see in the world.
