It looks like two of Marvel's biggest superheroes will be locking lips when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters. For all of you diehard Steve/Tony shippers, this news may seem promising - but it seems like the blockbuster will bring a very canon couple to life on the big screen instead. Thanks to E! Online, fans have learned that Scarlet Witch and Vision will share a kiss, and the site got a firsthand look at the bubbling romance.

According to the report, Paul Bettany was seen in-character having an intimate moment with Elizabeth Olsen's character. The actors filmed the personal scene in Edinburgh, Scotland yesterday. E! Online said the scene was filmed about eight or nine times. The shot shows Vision opening a window curtain with his powers, and Scarlet Witch then appears by his side. Then, according to reports, "they get very close and finally kissed."

In the photos, fans have pointed out Vision's new look as the actor is lack much of the mo-cap attire the hero usually requires. However, Bettany can be seen wearing a dark navy shirt, so Marvel's CGI wizards may still be able to overlay Vision's traditional outfit on the actor. However, there is a chance the new Avengers film will give Vision a more human-looking visage; The look may make more casual fans more receptive to the romance.

However, Marvel readers will be very familiar with Scarlet Witch's romance with Vision. The two characters have an involved history with one another. In the comics, Scarlet Witch falls in love with Vision, but there were plenty of bumps. Quicksilver and Hawkeye objected to the romance, and the two eventually had two children to only discover they were figments of Scarlet Witch's powers.

Hopefully, Avengers: Infinity War will give the pair a more grounding relationship. That is, before Thanos comes around looking for Vision's Infinity Stone.

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
