Chris Hemsworth Teases Avengers: Infinity War Villains

There are few films which boast the kind of secrecy that Avengers: Infinity War enjoys. Marvel Studios is notoriously protective of its films, so fans have not been shocked by the company's steadfast oversight of the blockbuster. Much of the Avengers flick is still shrouded in mystery despite its ongoing production, but some of Marvel's stars have teased fans about the massive project. Now, Chris Hemsworth has given his own cryptic teasers about Avengers: Infinity War, and it sounds like Thanos isn't the only villain in the movie.

Recently, Hemsworth graced Sydney's Supanova Comic Con with his presence as fans queued for his Q&A panel. During the event, the Aussie actor opened up about Thor: Ragnarok as the standalone debuts this November, but he also carefully spoke about Avengers: Infinity War. It was there the actor touched upon the film's baddies, and an attendee known as @Tyler_Cull3n was able to share the actor's words with fans online. You can read what Tyler James had to say about Hemsworth's answer below:

"We all should be very afraid of Thanos. There are a lot more villains in Infinity War too."

So far, Avengers: Infinity War has only spotlighted its inclusion of Thanos as a major villain. The Mad Titan has gradually grown his part in the MCU as a lead-in to the upcoming Avengers flick, but there are other villains who fans should watch out for. Reports recently surfaced that Black Panther's Man-Ape would be brought in for the blockbuster, and Nebula will also star in the film. The Guardians of the Galaxy character may have flown some heroic colors in the franchise's sequel, but her goals are extreme enough for many to put her on par with Loki's temperament.

There is a chance Loki himself will even appear in Avengers: Infinity War. After all, the character does have a direct connection to Thanos. Marvel's first Avengers flick saw Loki approach Thanos and his chatty lackey after he fell from Asgard, and the encounter saw him take up a mission to bring ruin upon Earth with a Chitauri army. Loki has kept himself scarce from Thanos following his failed mission, but Thor's brother could be roped back into the Titan's dealings after the villain gets hold of a completed Infinity Gauntlet.

You can check out the first synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War below:

"As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain."

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
