Captain America: Civil War continues to dominate at the international box office, earning $38.7 million in its first two days. The film is now showing in 30 international markets and the box office in each of them.

Disney notes that Civil War is keeping pace with Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel's biggest international success so far. Age of Ultron grossed a total of $946 million internationally.

Civil War is performing particularly well in South Korea, where it grossed $7.7 million in its first two days. The film also earned $3.7 million in France and $2.7 million in Brazil, which is the second highest opening of all time in Brazil (Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the highest).

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
