Captain America: Civil War Writers Confirm No Infinity Stones In The Film

Captain America: Civil War is about a conflict of ideals between two leaders, and while there might be someone pushing events behind the scenes , it won't have anything to do with the Infinity Stones.
When ComicBook.com's Ashley Robinson caught up to writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus, the topic of those ever elusive Infinity Stones came up and whether they are a factor in Civil War.
McFeely: "I think it's okay to say it's a stone free movie."
Markus: "It is a stone free movie, which I think is a Jimi Hendrix reference."
The Infinity Stones have been aligned with several of the central antagonists in previous Marvel films, so it might be a nice reprieve from that storyline before the Russo Brothers go all in with the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.
