Deadpool 2 Fan Creates More Comic-Accurate Domino First Look Image

While the reactions have mostly been positive towards Domino's first photo in costume for Deadpool 2, there are some who would like to see a more comic-accurate version on screen.

That, of course, includes the pale white skin color that Domino has always featured in the books. One fan decided to do just that by editing the just-released photo, and you can view the results below.

The photo isn't the only one of its kind out there, and it's drawn mixed reactions by fans. Some love the comic coloring, while others observe that they like the idea more than the actual results. Others like Beetz just the way she is in the original photo, and are excited to see what Cable will look like alongside her.

Domino creator Rob Liefeld is one of those excited to see the duo interact on screen, though that extends to Deadpool and Domino as well.

"Domino is all about, as an actress and as the character that is going to be on the screen you already allude to it, it's all about the sass. You gotta understand, you're gonna go up against Wade Wilson, who is, in this movie is Ryan Reynolds and trust ... I'm telling you, having been around Ryan multiple times that mouth cannot be stopped. He ... it's point ... I don't think he can say the jokes as fast as they are backed up in his head."

"So, you need ... some of these people be like "oh hey, this girl should have been Domino, and pick out actress a through z" and I'd be like "I'm not sure that they can keep up with him" and oh my gosh, I'm not sure that Ryan's gonna keep up with her," said Liefeld. "I think Ryan Reynolds is gonna have to work hard to keep up with Zazie. I mean, wow. You just go "That chemistry is going to be spectacular". And that's what it comes down to is the chemistry with these characters."

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool/Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Zazie Beetz (Domino), Josh Brolin (Cable/Nathan Summers), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Leslie Uggams (Blind AL), Julian Dennison, and Stefan Kapičić (Colossus).

Deadpool's Holiday Blu-ray package is now available and retails for $25.99. Logan is also on Blu-ray and DVD, while Gambit still has a release date of December 31 of 2017, though that is likely going to change. New Mutants has been announced for April 3, 2018, while Deadpool 2 will follow on June 1, 2018. X-Men: Dark Phoenix will hit theaters on November 2, 2018.
