This Is What Ryan Reynolds Looks Like Under The Deadpool Costume

While much of the attention has been on Cable and Domino, Ryan Reynolds decided to take it back with a peek under his Deadpool costume.

The star has been getting in shape for the anticipated sequel, and his personal trainer Don Saladino shared a revealing photo of the kind of shape he's in at the moment. The photo shows a bloody Reynolds from the waist up, and Saladino also threw the gauntlet down to Josh Brolin's Cable to boot.

The caption reads, "@joshbrolin, you still have some work to do. 😉 Check out Men's Health's interview with @vancityreynolds talking about his preparation for Deadpool 2 (link in bio). Loved being able to tag along for the ride and watch this guy put the work in. Are you guys pumped for #deadpool2?"

Reynolds recently shared his thoughts on Brolin's Cable depiction, including how physical the encounters with him on set have been.

"I think it's going to be very interesting," Reynolds told Fandango. "I've spent this last week on the business end of many Josh Brolin punches. Both verbal and physical and literal and it's going to be pretty fantastic. He's going to be epic. He's going to be an epic Cable."

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool/Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Zazie Beetz (Domino), Josh Brolin (Cable/Nathan Summers), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Leslie Uggams (Blind AL), Julian Dennison, and Stefan Kapičić (Colossus).

Deadpool's Holiday Blu-ray package is now available and retails for $25.99. Logan is also on Blu-ray and DVD. New Mutants has been announced for April 3, 2018, while Deadpool 2 will follow on June 1, 2018. X-Men: Dark Phoenix will hit theaters on November 2, 2018.
