Defenders: Jessica Jones Investigates Colleen Wing's Dojo In New Motion Poster

Jessica Jones is investigating a location that should be familiar to those who have seen Marvel's Iron Fist on Netflix.

In a new motion poster released by Netflix and Marvel Television to promote Marvel's The Defenders, Jessica Jones can be seen looking around and taking photographs of Colleen Wing's Chikara Dojo.

Iron Fist fans will remember that the Chikara dojo is where Danny Rand stayed when he first returned to New York City and was rejected by the Meachums. He bonded with Colleen Wing, though his misdirected rage cut that relationship off for a time. Danny and Colleen were able to rekindle their relationship, even bringing it to a romantic level, though they faced another challenge when Colleen was revealed to be training her students to join the Hand.

Perhaps Jessica Jones is looking for leads on the Hand and that's what led her to Chikara. This could be another hint at the identity of Alexandra, the Defenders villain.

The Iron Fist Twitter account had something to say about Jessica Jones snooping around the dojo.

This poster is just the latest in a series of The Defenders motion posters that have included Iron Fist, Daredevil, and Luke Cage. The posters have been teasing possible crossovers, with lead characters visiting locations from different Marvel shows on Netflix. The trailer for Marvel's The Defenders teased the same, mostly pairing Jessica Jones up with Daredevil and Iron Fist with Luke Cage.

Marvel's The Defenders is the miniseries that will bring together all of Marvel's Netflix stars, including Iron Fist (Finn Jones) Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), and Luke Cage (Mike Colter), to protect New York City from its greatest threat yet.

Marvel's The Defenders is developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez. The miniseries will also feature Sigourney Weaver as the villain, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver), and several recurring guest stars from Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage, and Marvel's Iron Fist, including Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.

Marvel's The Defenders premieres on Netflix on Aug. 18, 2017.
