Doctor Strange Motion Posters And IMAX Poster Released

With the release of Marvel's newest film, Doctor Strange, just over a month away, the popular studio has increased the presence of the movie all throughout the media. Keeping with that trend, the studio released the official IMAX poster for the film, as well as a series of moving posters that debuted online.

These moving posters may seem simple at first, as they just feature an image of a single character. The three different variants include Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), and Wong (Benedict Wong).

Just as you start the think the posters bland, the signature circles of Doctor Strange's spells start to swirl across the bottom of the image. Slowly, the title image and release date surface on the poster.

If you've been keeping up with the advertising of Doctor Strange, these images are probably nothing new. The effect added to them, however, making for an exciting tease for the film.

The Official IMAX poster for Doctor Strange may not move at any point, but there is enough happening on the page that the flair isn't necessary.

The poster, like many others, features a profile shot of Benedict Cumberbatch in front of a topsy-turvy city-scape. Attached to the back of his head is an orange sphere, encompassing many of the characters in the film, as well as some other locales.

This poster is truly spell-binding, and it captures the themes of the story perfectly. It has an edge of excitement to it, but lets you know you're in for a serious ride.

Doctor Strange is the latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it follows the redemptive story of Doctor Stephen Strange. After a near-fatal accident, Strange embarks on a journey to find peace. Throughout this expedition, he runs into The Ancient One, and is taught the ways of magic. This will be Marvel's first foray into the world of magic, and Doctor Strange has been confirmed to appear in future films in the franchise.

Doctor Strange was written, and directed, by Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Deliver Us From Evil) and stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role. The Marvel production will be released in the US on November 4, 2016.
