EXCLUSIVE: All New Guardians Of The Galaxy #2 First Look Preview

The Guardians of the Galaxy are heading back to the cosmos in their brand new ongoing series, and now fans can get an up-close look at the big second issue.

In All New Guardians of the Galaxy #2, the team does what it does best, and that's cause havoc. Granted, they can be stealthy when the need arises...okay, scratch that. Gamora can be stealthy when the need arises, but everyone it's sort of a crapshoot. Also, Drax is called the destroyer, but as you can see in the preview, maybe Gamora should be the bearer of that title. You can catch the new pages in the gallery.

Writer Gerry Duggan recently sat down with ComicBook.com to discuss the group's new space adventures, saying "I think regardless of what's going on for you on Earth now, it's always fun to get away from it. We're putting Earth in our rear-view. It's a different era in the Marvel cosmic universe. There hasn't been a Nova Corps in a long time, and we're going to find out that that has caused some problems. Pretty quickly, we'll find that there are new sheriffs in town. As the Nova Corps gets reconstituted out there, it's going to present us with fun opportunities to get these guys into a lot of trouble. That's another of our goals, to always to be putting them into trouble."

It seems they are already living up that goal, and you can pick up the first issue of the series in stores next week. As for issue #2, that hits on June 1.
