Fan Art Friday: The Dynamite Mashups Of ZedEdge

Who doesn't love to envision their favorite geeky franchises coming together? The answer is absolutely no one, but few have made it into an artform like artist ZedEdge.

The Australia residing artist counts himself a fan of franchises like Avatar, Star Wars, Legend of Korra, Transformers, Sailor Moon, and Bayonetta, and has developed a talent for melding them all together in new and unique ways. His kinetic style lends itself to a number of genres, and his remixed mashups all bring something fun to the table.

Take his Avatar The Last Airbender Star Wars mashup, which places lightsabers in the hands of fan favorites like Aang, Korra, Roku, and Kyoshi, resulting in a stunning piece of fan service. Other renderings are more on the fun side, like his Transformers Big Hero 6 mashup, or his DragonBall Z One Piece remix.

After seeing his amazing Sailor Moon Mad Max piece, you're going to wish it was a real thing. The same goes for his Legend of Korra Batman mashup, but you'll probably want his "Busted" Disney and Final Fantasy remix even more. ZedEdge mixes the style seen in Disney's Big Hero 6 or Frozen with the world of Final Fantasy VII, and the results are fantastic.
