Fan Builds Deadpool Knife Block To Marvelize Kitchen

It's amazing what you can accomplish with a little ingenuity and planning mixed with some good old-fashioned effort. Thanks to Britt Michelsen's hard work you can now bring a little Deadpool to your everyday kitchen life.

The DIY Deadpool knife block project involved some on the fly learning of Autodesk Recap 360, Sculptris, and Autodesk Meshmixer as Britt wasn't familiar with 3D modeling before she took on the project. She was helped along a bit by some previous 3D sculpts of Deadpool from a few different sources, and then set about customizing it into what she needed.

After she adjusted the sculpt and mesh to suit her needs, it was time to pick out the knives, and design the spaces in his head to match the size and shape.

The result is a worthy addition to any geek's kitchen, and one with a distinct Deadpool flare. You can see the entire process here.
