Fan Creates Epic Captain America Trailer In The Style Of Logan

01/25/2017 01:59 pm EST

The final Logan trailer took the world by storm last week, and now it's starting to have the same effect as the film's first footage.

Fans are using the style of both trailers to re-cut other films and tell their story. "Logan-ing" a trailer has become commonplace, and the new trailer is jumping on the bandwagon.

A YouTube user by the name of Gage Masterson has taken the style of Logan's latest trailer - using forshadowing dialogue and Kaleo's 'Way Down We Go' - and told the tale of Steve Rogers.

The aptly-titled Rogers Trailer uses footage from Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier to make Rogers' story seem ominous and terrifying.

This fan-cut is epic, and it makes us wish this movie was happening right now.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.

Logan takes place in the year 2029, where mutant births have become extremely rare. The defenders of mutant kind, the X-Men, are long gone, and the only remains of them are an old and struggling Charles Xavier and a weary Logan. Logan's vaunted healing factor has slowed, and at times doesn't seem to work at all. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more. His job isn't over yet.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice). James Mangold is directing and helped on the screenplay along with Scott Frank and Michael Green.
