Guardians And Avengers Crossover For Special Civil War Screening

The Guardians and the Avengers have finally been in the same movie...theater!

Over the weekend, the Fox Theater in Atlanta played host to the cast and crew of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 for a special advanced screening of Captain America: Civil War. On hand were Guardians stars Chris Pratt, Michael Rooker, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Sean Gunn. Pratt posed for pictures with young fans in Captain America and Iron Man cosplay, all the while rocking his Peter Quill sideburns as Guardians Vol. 2 is currently deep into production.

One half of the Captain America: Civil War directing team, Anthony Russo, and the film's producer Mitch Bell. Also on hand were Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Georgia First Lady Sandra Deal, and Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr.

Star-Lord (and likely the rest of the Guardians) will be linking up with the Avengers when Infinity War rolls around in 2018. Anthony Russo revealed that Star-Lord is the character he is most looking forward to working with for Marvel Studios' largest ensemble film.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set for release May 5, 2017.
