Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Gets A Weird Trailer

I hope by now, most of you are familiar with Aldos Jones and his wonderfully bizarre "Weird Trailer" series. If you're not, let me explain. Jones is a talented video editor that has a knack for putting a humorous and zany spin on popular movie trailers. To do this, he digitally manipulates footage of its stars, stretching their faces like silly putty, giving them cartoonish eyes that can't sit still, and providing them with strange clothes and props. Plus, Jones always inserts tons of completely-random characters from other popular franchises.

For the newest installment, Jones has digitally manipulated imagery from the first full-length trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. So now in this altered version, Gamora wields a shark and dances with Emo Peter Parker; Rocket wears tighty whities; Star-Lord plays with action figures and has an elastic face; Baby Groot goes through a puppy transformation and babysits Baby Batman, making him even more adorable; Drax gets hit with a booger and wears boxers (Space pants!); Yondu accidentally stabs himself with his own weapon; and Mantis gets savagely attacked by an animated pray mantis.

Set to the backdrop of 'Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora; Dave Bautista (Spectre) as Drax; Vin Diesel (Furious 7) as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker (Jumper) as Yondu; Karen Gillan (The Big Short) as Nebula; and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls) as Kraglin.
