Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Has An “Undiscoverable” Easter Egg

There are few things in this world Marvel fans love more than easter eggs. Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to life in 2008, fans have picked over the studio's features for inside references and geeky nods. No film in the franchise has put easter eggs on display like the Guardians of the Galaxy, and its impending sequel is poised to do the same. Now, the director of the movies is speaking out about the sequel's nods, and James Gunn says one will be almost impossible to spot.

In an interview with The Independent, the site asked the director whether Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will have an unfindable easter egg like the first movie. It was there that Gunn said "yes," but the director would not shed any more light on the find.

When questioned if he'd reveal the easter egg anytime soon, Gunn denied the possibility. He still won't even share the first film's hidden nod. "I am not going to [reveal anything], but people have gotten very close. So, I don't think it will be very long until it comes out," he explained.

For now, fans will have to continue to comb through Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel to find whatever clues Gunn has left for them. Recently, Chris Pratt even admitted he has asked Gunn about the first film's easter egg to no avail, so it seems like the director is keen on keeping his mouth shut.
