05/04/2017 03:50 pm EDT

Karen Gillan fans will get the chance to see her once again in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but they can also meet the talented actress at the Colorado Springs Comic Con.

Gillan will be appearing at the convention from August 25th to the 27th, where she'll be taking photos and signing autographs. Gillan has plenty on her plate this year, as in addition to Guardians Vol. 2 and the just released "The Circle" she is also starring in the Jumanji reboot and Avengers: Infinity War. Regarding Guardians, Gillan recently said "I feel like a newcomer as well because I was so watching from the sidelines in the first movie, and then I sort of became a bit of a reluctant Guardian in this movie. Captured and forced to be there, and forced to confront my relationship with my sister Gamora, and that's just been amazing. It's been really cool to be around them and see what it's like and the dynamic has been pretty special."

If you're in the area or headed that way make sure to drop by. You can find the official press release below and more on the website.

Next up on the growing list of exciting guests announced for Colorado Springs Comic Con, scheduled for August 25 to 27 at the Colorado Springs Event Center, is Karen Gillan.

Gillan plays the role of Nebula in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and the 2018 film release of Avengers: Infinity War. Gillan is also known for her role as Amy Pond in three seasons of the BBC America hit Dr. Who. She has also lent her voice to a series of video games for the Dr. Who franchise.
