Here's How Captain America: Civil War Played Out, As Told By LEGO

In anticipation of Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters July 7, Disney has released Captain America: Civil War As Told By LEGO, the final episode of its digital series produced in collaboration with LEGO.

Marvel's Steve Rogers, who recently surprised fans with a cameo in the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, makes his LEGO debut in a 3-minute, stop-motion animation video – narrated through the eyes of a youngster.

It seems to fit, given that the whole idea of Captain America as an inspiration and a role model is what fuels not only so much of his persona onscreen, but is what he has in common with Wonder Woman's big-screen take, which debuted in theaters last weekend to a $100 million opening and rave reviews.

See what happens when Iron Man confronts Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther and Captain America for their blatant disregard for the Sokovia Accord. The formidable wrath of Iron Man screeches to a halt in an unexpected twist.

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.

The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
