Huge Fantastic Four Trailer Easter Eggs Revealed

The first trailer for Fox's Fantastic 4 has dropped and, while there's a wide variety of reactions online, many fans are watching and rewatching, hoping to glean a little more information from this very teaser-y teaser trailer.

What did we spot? A bunch of stuff, and we're working on a more detailed breakdown now...but these two things stuck out:

The trailer opens on a number of stock footage-type shots of a cityscape, a mountain vista and the Grimm Salvage Yard while Johnny Storm's father talks over them all, setting the mission statement for the team.

It's worth noting, perhaps, that there doesn't appear to be any basis in the comics, either in the 616 or Ultimate Universe, for the Grimms to run a salvage yard. Then again, most of what we know about Ben Grimm's aunt and uncle (who raised him after his parents died) comes from their retirement years in Arizona.

Given how quickly it blows by, a lot of people have seen "Grimm" but couldn't make out the "Salvage," so that seemed worth mentioning.

Bigger than that, though, is this one:

Is that Latveria? I mean, yes, I know that in the real world that is a real place and not Latveria. But in all of these maps on the walls, there's a red dot somewhere in Eastern Europe. Could that be Doom's kingdom?

Looks like it. You see that red lettering at the bottom left? That says "23.21.190.125," and if you plug that in to your Internet browser, you get a Wikia entry for Latveria (try refreshing or viewing it with different browsers to get different results; it seems to randomly redirect to a number of different results).

Probably a safe bet that she's trying to track the source of a hack? It would make sense with both the map and what looks to be an IP address. That would all track with the idea of Doom as a "hacker," and still give him Latveria as a base of (virtual) operations.
