Netflix Reveals New Marvel's Iron Fist Poster

Marvel Television and Netflix have revealed a new poster for Marvel's Iron Fist. The poster features the main cast of the series spread throughout a street in New York City's Chinatown and is very similar in style to the Hell's Kitchen street scene poster released for the first season of Marvel's Daredevil.

Finn Jones stands front and center as Danny Rand, the Iron Fist, in the new poster. On the left side, standing on a corner near a gift shop is Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing. On the opposite side of the street is Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey as siblings Joy and Ward Meachum, respectively. Staring creepily out of the window above the Golden Sands restaurant is Joy and Ward's father, Harold Meachum, played by David Wenham.

Notably absent from the poster is Rosario Dawson, who is confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple in Marvel's Iron Fist.

The skyline in the background of the poster includes two notable buildings. The first has a giant "R" on it. That would be the headquarters of Rand Enterprises, the company started by Danny's father and taken over by Harold Meachum after Danny went missing. The second has a giant "A" on it and will be recognizable to Marvel Cinematic Universe fans as Avengers Tower.

In Marvel's Iron Fist, fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Based on the Marvel Comics character created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, Marvel's Iron Fist is developed by Scott Buck, who serves as the series showrunner. Iron Fist stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, the Iron Fist, as well as Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, and Rosario Dawson.

The series is the fourth Marvel Television show on Netflix, following Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, and Marvel's Luke Cage. Marvel's Iron Fist will lead into Marvel's The Defenders crossover miniseries, which will debut on Netflix later this year. The series sees Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist teaming up, along with several allies from each series, to take on a threat to New York City no one of them could handle on their own.

All 13 episodes of the first season of Marvel's Iron Fist will debut on Netflix on March 17, 2017.
