Is This The New Guardians Of The Galaxy Roster?

Marvel Studios debuted a new trailer of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 just in time for the Super Bowl.

While the new trailer was packed with many humorous and action-filled moments, it also highlights the characters within and gives a closing shot of the starring characters.

So is this the new roster for Marvel's cosmic superteam?


While we already knew Mantis would be joining the team based on prior information, we only knew that Yondu and Nebula would have extended roles in the film.

This trailer seems to confirm that both blue-skinned characters will officially join the team by the film's end.

Yondu and Nebula were both antagonists to different degrees in the first film.

Yondu raised Peter Quill (after kidnapping him from Earth) with the Ravagers, while Nebula and her sister Gamora were both raised by the Mad Titan Thanos.



Merchandise and cast interviews have hinted toward these developments, but the trailer seems to confirm the additions.
