Many people are excited for the new direction the God of Thunder will take in Thor: Ragnarok, teaming Chris Hemsworth with director Taikia Waititi in a new take that's loaded with inspiration and influences from classic Marvel Comics like Planet Hulk.

And while many over at Marvel Studios are campaigning for its success, few can kick up the hype levels with the ease that Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn can.

The director and architect of the Cosmic corner in the film universe has heaped a lot of praise on Waititi's take on Thor, and as production winds down ahead of the film's November release, he's now getting fans stoked for the forthcoming sneak peek.

When asked on Twitter whether he's seen the trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, Gunn answered with a response that is sure to get fans amped for the Avenger's third solo outing.

Gunn is now less than two months away from the release of his second Marvel Studios film with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The adventure reteams the rag-tag group of universe saviors while bringing along some new faces for the ride, including Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet.

Gunn and Waititi are also known for their indie movies, productions that helped secure them a foothold in guiding the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Gunn's latest project was the script for the Belko Experiment, which is in theaters now. Waititi received a lot of praise for his last film, the hilarious Hunt for the Wilderpeople starring Sam Neil of Jurassic Park fame.

Gunn brought those sensibilities to the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie, which garnered heaps of praise for the humor and warmth of its characters.

That should carry through to the next installment, as well as to the third Thor film which will set up the big Avengers and Guardians team up in Avengers: Infinity War.
