Kaiyodo Debuts Marvel Comics Revoltech Deadpool Figure

The talented folks over at Kaiyodo have started a new line of for their Revoltech figures called American Comics Characters. The first entry in the line is none other than Wade Wilson, aka the merc with a mouth Deadpool.

The Revoltech figures are always well articulated, with Deadpool coming in at 6 inches tall and with 30 points of articulation for you to pose to your heart's content (via Toyark). Wade can be seen in the advertisement sporting two swords, two pistols, and a knife, but I wouldn't be surprised to see even more weapons included in the final release.

In addition to being well armed, Kaiyodo has taken advantage of his comic roots and included at least four interchangeable portraits, including a serious action expression, a frowning expression, a love expression (with his eyes replaced with two hearts), and another expression with one eye squinting and one eye opened. I call it the Lazy Eye expression, for those four other fans out there of Fievel Goes West.

Wade will also come with interchangeable hands, and hopefully we'll see a few other fan nods, such as Wade's zombie head from Marvel Zombies (which he carried around for awhile) or his keychain that held a miniature sized Rhino for awhile.

No word on price or release date yet. Eventually, the mere will be joined by Marvel icon Spider-Man along with his nemesis Venom.
