Hugh Jackman Thanks Patrick Stewart For His Work On Logan

Fans long-expected Logan to be an awesome movie, but its theatrical release over the weekend helped millions realize that they were actually witnessing a master class in emotional filmmaking. From start to finish, Logan was an incredible roller-coaster that we were all happy to be a part of.

In Hugh Jackman's eyes, much of that success was due to the performance of Sir Patrick Stewart.

The two actors are good friends, as they've been acting together since the first X-Men film in the year 2000. Through this film however, they took a heartbreaking journey - together - to say goodbye to Wolverine and Professor X.

Now that the film has opened, Jackman took to Twitter to pay respect to his acting partner. The star posted a touching tribute on his social media account, thanking Stewart for his performance and friendship.

The most exciting part of the post, at least for fans, is that Jackman openly wants to work with Stewart again. The two had incredible chemistry in Logan, and Jackman finished the post by asking, "What's Next?"

Logan is now playing in theaters.
