Inhumans Star Anson Mount Gives Twitter Profile Black Bolt Makeover

Some of you might only recognize Anson Mount as the bearded guy in those Hell on Wheels commercials that you fast-forward through while watching The Walking Dead or Better Call Saul. But you'll soon recognize him as Black Bolt, the King of the Inhumans.

Yup, five days ago, Mount landed the lead role in Marvel's The Inhumans television series. And since he previously said that he prefers Marvel over DC, you just know he's bursting with excitement right now — though that's pretty evident by looking at his official Twitter account. He gave it an Inhumans makeover.

The 44-year-old actor switched his profile picture to a minimalist design of Black Bolt's mask (view below). His bio is now Hamlet's final words: "The rest is silence." That's a reference to how Black Bolt, whose voice is so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city, has to convey so much without uttering a single word. And lastly, he changed his location to Attilan, The Inhumans' island kingdom.

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel's The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

The cast features Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, Ellen Woglom as Undisclosed Character, and Lockjaw as himself.

The first two episode of Marvel's The Inhumans (directed by Roel Reine) will premiere in over 1,000 IMAX theatres across the globe — for a two-week run — starting on September 1, 2017. ABC will then premiere the weekly television series on Tuesday, September 26. Marvel's Iron Fist showrunner Scott Buck is serving as its showrunner.
