In Hawaii, things are shaping up for one of Marvel's royal families. This year, Marvel Studios will tackle another ambitious project for both film and television fans. In September, the company will usher in its Inhumans series into IMAX theaters for a limited engagement before it begins airing weekly on ABC. Right now, the project is well into production as filming is already underway. And, now, new set photos from The Inhumans have hit the Internet - and they show some familiar faces.

On Twitter, Reel News Hawaii was able to catch a glimpse of several Inhuman heroes during a day shoot. The account posted photos from the Royals entrance, and the Marvel heroes were shown walking through a crowd of admiring servants. However, a few eagle-eyed fans were able to catch a glimpse of Medusa and Maximus in the far-out shots.

Of course, Medusa is easier to spot from far away because of her unique look. The powerful Inhuman famously has long, crimson-colored hair, and the pictures confirm the character will keep the hairstyle on-screen. Medusa can also be seen wearing his signature purple gown. And, just behind her, Maximus can be seen as well. The photos also given a few glimpses of Auran and Black Bolt as the pair take part in the procession as well.

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel's The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

The cast features Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, Ellen Woglom as Undisclosed Character, and Lockjaw as himself.

The first two episode of Marvel's The Inhumans (directed by Roel Reine) will premiere in over 1,000 IMAX theatres across the globe — for a two-week run — starting on September 1, 2017. ABC will then premiere the weekly television series on Tuesday, September 26. Marvel's Iron Fist showrunner Scott Buck is serving as its showrunner.
