Move Over Groot...
In his interview with EW, Inhumans and Iron Fist showrunner Scott Buck let Marvel fans know that they should look forward to seeing Lockjaw onscreen. Buck even went so far as to suggest that the Inhuman creature will ultimately become a major standout of the series.
As Buck tells it: "Lockjaw is probably going to end up being the audience's favorite character. We certainly enjoy working with him. He's fun to write, he's fun to shoot. There's not too much more detail than that that I can give, but he is going to be a standout on the show."
We've previously seen set photos of Lockjaw in his pre-CGI form: it's basically a big, blue, model of the character, which will be detailed later in post-production.
Are you excited to see Lockjaw (and the rest of the Inhuman Royal Family) in live-action?
The first two episode of Marvel's The Inhumans (directed by Roel Reine) will premiere in over 1,000 IMAX theatres across the globe — for a two-week run — starting on September 1, 2017. ABC will then premiere the weekly television series on Tuesday, September 26. Marvel's Iron Fist showrunner Scott Buck is serving as its showrunner.
Marvel's The Inhumans stars Anson Mount, Serinda Swan, Iwan Rheon, Ken Leung, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, Sonya Balmores and Ellen Woglom.
