Marvel Releases New Inhuman Costume Designs

Marvel's royal family has expanded quite a bit over the last year or so thanks to the powerful Terrigen Mists, and soon they will be getting some new looks to celebrate their accomplishments.

The upcoming Inhumans Prime #1 will set the stage for Marvel's RessurXion event, which takes place after the dust settles from the current Inhumans vs. X-Men conflict. Artist Jonboy Meyers has taken the opportunity to redesign the current Inhuman costumes, and the results are quite impressive. The new designs are much more modern and stylized than their previous outfits, especially in the case of Crystal, Medusa, Flint, and Gorgon.

The addition of cloaks and long coats has helped retain the regalness of their garb, while the lines and accents on the core outfits are much sleeker, giving characters like Flint and Crystal a much more youthful vibe. Medusa's look is certainly more interesting than her previous simple purple body suit, but final judgment will have to wait until fans see it in action.

You can view the redesigns in the gallery, and the official description of the issue can be found below. Inhumans Prime #1 is slated to hit in March of 2017 and is written by Al Ewing with art from Ryan Sook.
