Marvel's Doctor Strange Wraps Filming

While holding a Doctor Strange comic book, director Scott Derrickson officially announced that he has wrapped filming on his upcoming Marvel film.
At the beginning of November 2015, principal photography began on Doctor Strange in Nepal. A week later, production made its home in London for nearly five-months. However, this weekend, filming wrapped up in New York City with some action sequences being filmed that featured Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Mads Mikkelsen.
Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
Scott Derrickson is directing with a cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, a.k.a. Night Nurse, Benedict Wong as Wong and Mads Mikkelsen will play an unspecified villain role.
Marvel's Dr. Strange will cast a spell on audiences November 4, 2016.
