We're still months away from the highly-anticipated Marvel film Spider-Man: Homecoming, but that doesn't take away from any of the excitement. From the time it was announced, fans have been losing their minds waiting for any new news or footage from the movie.

While Tom Holland's take on Spider-Man is certainly the biggest draw, Michael Keaton's take on the classic villain Vulture has to be one of the film's most exciting qualities.

The former Batman actor - and recent Oscar nominee - will be one of the bigger veterans of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but his villain may not be as bad as he seems.

In an interview with Variety, Keaton opened up a bit about his new role. When asked about his turn to a villain, which the actor doesn't often play, he said that Vulture wasn't quite the villain he's believed to be.

Check it out:

"But not to give too much away, but interestingly, he is and he isn't, that character. He's a really interesting — and more interesting than I thought — villain because there's parts of him that you go, 'You know what? I might see his point.' Really, really. It makes it interesting to play."

Based on the trailer, many thought Vulture would be an extremely evil villain. After all, he is going to war with a high school kid. but Keaton's comments mean that the villain may have a soft side after all.

Could the Vulture be the most vulnerable - and possibly relatable - villain to date?

Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters on July 7, 2017. A sequel for the much-anticipated film has already been announced for 2019.
