Gotham Actress Cast In Fox's X-Men TV Pilot

Natalia Alyn Lind has joined the cast of the pilot for X-Men TV series. Lind played Silver St. Cloud on Fox's Gotham. She's also appeared on The Goldbergs, iZombie, and Chicago Fire.

Fox's still untitled X-Men television series focuses on two human parents who discover their children are mutants. The family is forced to on the run from a hostile government and join forces with an underground mutant resistance network.

Lind will play Lauren, one of the children. Lauren is described as "smart, pretty, popular, organized and already ahead on her college applications, she is the model of a perfect kid."

Lind is the second Gotham alum to join Fox's X-Men pilot. Jamie Chung, who was Gotham's Valerie Vale, has been cast as the mutant teleporter called Blink in the new pilot.

True Blood star Stephen Moyer will play Reed, Lauren's father. Blair Redford will play the mutant leader of the resistance. The pilot is also said to feature the mutant-hunting robots called Sentinels as villains.

The X-Men pilot is a co-production of 20th Century Fox TV and Marvel Television. Matt Nix is the creator and is writing the pilot. Veteran X-Men movie director Bryan Singer will direct the pilot. Nix and Singer are both executive producing, alongside Lauren Shuler Doner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory.

The untitled X-Men series will be the second X-Men live-action series on television, following FX's Legion.
