Russo Brothers Want Wolverine In Marvel Cinematic Universe

When Sony came to an agreement with Marvel Studios about the rights to Spider-Man, fans the world over couldn't believe it. Finally, Spider-Man could interact with The Avengers on the big screen.
Captain America: Civil War directors the Russo Brothers have another character they'd like to see join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he happens to be one of the most popular X-Men ever.
Here is the exchange with Collider's Steve Weintraub.
"Joe Russo: Wolverine.
Anthony Russo: Yeah.
Joe Russo: First favorite character growing up was Spider-Man, second was Wolverine. One of my most-prized possessions is Incredible Hulk #181. It was his first appearance.
Weintraub: Do you have it graded or is it just in your collection?
Joe Russo: It's in my collection. It's sitting in a safe. I won't disclose where it is.
Anthony Russo: I know where it is. And I would say Wolverine as well, for all of the exciting reasons that we all gravitate to."
If there was an X-character that could make the jump rather easily, it would be Wolverine. While it very much might happen in the foreseeable future, it would likely be with a new actor as Hugh Jackman has stated the upcoming Wolverine 3 is his last outing (X-Men: Apocalypse notwithstanding). Still, having those claws pop out in front of a Marvel Studios Hulk is a comic fanboys dream.
