Spider-Man Swings Into Action With Homecoming Hot Toys Figure

With only a month to go until its release, Hot Toys has unveiled its brand new 1/6th scale Spider-Man Collectible Figure (Deluxe Version) that is based on the high-tech suit Tony Stark gifted to Peter Parker.

Since the figure is due for release between the second and third quarters of 2018 (via ToyArk), fans will have plenty of time to fill up their piggy banks in order to purchase this spectacular item. If you're already got the scratch, you can pre-order the figure at Slideshow. It retails for $251.99.

Some of the many features include four pairs of interchangeable Spider-Man eye pieces, allowing you to customize the figure's expressions; ten pieces of interchangeable hands (including relaxed, open, cobweb swinging and shooting); pair of magnetic web-wings; blue zip-up hoodie, yellow blazer with school badge; and five different shapes and lengths of spider-webbing.

"Based on the new battling suit given to Peter Parker by Tony Stark, the figure features a newly developed masked head sculpt with four pairs of interchangeable eye pieces to create numerous combinations of Spider-Man's expressions," Hot Toys' description reads, "newly crafted interchangeable head sculpt featuring likeness of Tom Holland, a newly developed specialized body, an expertly tailored and greatly detailed costume, a pair of magnetically attachable web-wings, a variety of spider-web shooting effect parts, and a Spider-Man themed dynamic figure stand. This Deluxe version specially comes with an additional school blazer, a zip-up hoodie, plus a highly detailed Vulture's helmet! The suit's fine details have been remarkably transferred onto this Spider-Man collectible figure, make sure you have reserved a space in your display for this impressive masterpiece."

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

The cast features Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Logan Marshall-Green, and Marisa Tomei.

The film is being directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), based on a screenplay by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley (Vacation reboot) and Jon Watts & Christopher Ford and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released on July 7, 2017.
