When it comes to Spider-Man, fans have plenty of films to binge. Sony Pictures has undertaken several film franchises in the hero's name, and next month will see the continuation of its newest go. With Marvel Studios by its side, Sony will launch Spider-Man: Homecoming into theaters come July as Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker. Not long ago, the actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live ahead of the NBA Finals, and it was there the host gave his take on the movie.

Hint: Kimmel is a big fan of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Speaking with Holland and Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr., Kimmel asked the stars if they had a chance to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming yet. Holland admitted he got to see the film recently while Downey is still in the dark. The host himself then admitted he got to catch a "rough cut" of the movie, and Kimmel said the new Spider-Man movie is "easily" the hero's best yet.

As a self-professed comic book fan, Kimmel said Spider-Man: Homecoming reminded him of the comics he read when he was a child. The crowd seemed pleased by the mini-review, and Holland was just as happy to hear the praise.

So far, there is little word about how Spider-Man: Homecoming will fare, but critics will be quick to release their reviews when their embargo lifts. Fans have been very receptive to the superhero film thus far as its trailers have garnered millions of views. As press ramps up for Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans can expect to learn more about how the film is faring with audiences. But, if Kimmel is right, then fans have a lot to look forward to come July.
