New Spider-Man: Homecoming Poster: Spidey Heads Home

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have released a third new poster for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The newest poster shows Spider-Man hanging out on a highway sign while on his way home to Queens. Take a look below.

In the Marvel Universe, Peter Parker grew up in queens with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. The same holds true in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was noted in Captain America: Civil War. During the battle, Captain America asks Spider-Man where he's from. Spidey tells Cap he's from Queens, and Cap responds in kind by telling Spider-Man that he's from Brooklyn.

Spider-Man was fighting on the side of Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. Like in some modern comics, Iron Man will become a mentor to Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming, helping the young hero with his tech, training him to one day become and Avenger, and helping him figure out the whole superhero thing.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

The cast includes Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. It also includes Jon Favreau, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Michael Mando, Selenis Leyva, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr., JJ Totah, and Hannibal Buress.
