This Thor: Ragnarok Fan Trailer Gets Us Hyped For The Real Thing

A new trailer from YouTube user Alex Luthor remixes footage of the characters and cast members from the upcoming third installment to the Thor franchise for an epic imagining of what its trailer might look like.

Thor: Ragnarok does not hit theaters until November of 2017 with two Marvel Studios films slated earlier in the same year. The marketing pushes for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming will be strong in the next few months, leaving Thor: Ragnarok on the back burner for a little while longer. When to expect a trailer for the upcoming film is an interesting question heading into 2017 as it will be the first year which Marvel Studios releases three films.

The best guess: attached to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, six months prior to Thor: Ragnarok's theatrical release.

In any case, the new fan trailer combines the promised elements of Thor's journey in the next installment with the Planet Hulk ties which have been described as part of the film. Also included is Karl Urban (in scenes from a Riddick movie), Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange who is rumored to appear, and Thanos himself.
